Alvar Aalto Art Posters: École des Beaux-Arts, red
The poster for the Alvar Aalto Architecture et design exhibition shows the floor plan of the Aalto-designed Neue Vahr apartment block in Bremen, Germany, (1958–62). The exhibition commemorated the 90th anniversary of Alvar Aalto’s birth. It was assembled by the Museum of Finnish Architecture and hosted by the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Paris, in 1988. The poster was designed by the architect Kaarlo Leppänen, who worked in Aalto’s architect’s office. It is available in two different colours.
