Alvar Aalto Art Poster Palazzo Strozzi
Alvar Aalto Palazzo Strozzi exhibition poster. This exhibition of Alvar Aalto’s architecture and design was shown in Florence, Italy, in 1965–66. The architecture of the venue, the Renaissance-era Palazzo Strozzi (1489–1538), was much admired by Aalto. The red-chalk sketch on the poster shows the curved wall of the studio building designed by Alvar Aalto for his architect’s office in Helsinki in 1954–1955. The sketch was probably made specifically for the poster during the creation of the exhibition.
